Birthday in Corona times ... The old garden is closed, but the garden furniture is still outside and so we were able to have a wonderful picnic in this idyllic place on the occasion of my birthday. The surroundings are just great even in autumn!

At 3 p.m. no more cake. Very slow and sometimes unfriendly service. Still a nice location.

We were here in the afternoon, had a bite to eat and it was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant, not so crowded and the service was very friendly. We will recommend it to others.

Amazing place. Very kind customer service and delisicous pizzas they have and The environment is so peaceful that you just want to stay there.

Unfortunately I have to give a star! What is sometimes produced in the kitchen just surprises you! If you then complain about the product created, you won't even react or try to change it. We have rarely had such bad food. Customer satisfaction doesn't seem to be important here! That's how you quickly lose your guests. Pity!

We ordered food, schnitzel with fries. Food came was cold. After a short discussion the boss came up with his comment: If I want hot fries, I should go to MC Donald. An impudence. Never again

Simply impossible the coffee was small and very much impossible in terms of price, the kakau tasted like water and for a very small coffee cup € 2.80. A piece of cake costs € 3.20, the bill was also wrong, large cups were charged even though they were only small. Pay attention to the invoice amount. A big disappointment in every way. More appearance than being! This gastronomy there since the change of ownership in 2020 is not worth a cent. There are a number of temporary workers running back and forth through the beer garden, none of which gives the guest a qualified answer. All catastrophic in this service desert. On a Sunday we just wanted to have a bite to eat and drove to the Alter Garten beer garden in Haltern am See. Relatively well attended after 7pm. The first drink came to us after 12 minutes. Food order then placed directly. More guests came to the beer garden. We waited patiently for our food. Next to us 2 tables .... you received your ordered food. When I asked whether we would still receive our food (pizza and currywurst + french fries), another temporary worker came after a few minutes and told us that we had not entered the food order into the cash register system. That was now after 50 minutes of ordering food. He apologized in consternation. Asked if we are still interested and want to wait for our meal. We decided, because we were very hungry, to give them some time. We ordered again. Then a person in charge came out of sight and promised that he could speed up our order by calling on the kitchen team himself. The person in charge disappeared into nature and lingered a few meters further at the boat jetty. Nobody was to be seen at the pizza oven either. After 20min. we asked by going into the shop. Our food order did not arrive in the kitchen was the answer from another service assistant who looked for our food order in the checkout system. We were very disappointed. The beer garden now had almost no guests. There was still no employee at the pizza oven. There was a mess in the shop .... Dishes and dirty glasses were scattered around. None of the staff looked busy. As we walked to the parking lot, we saw the person in charge sitting at the boat jetty. We called to him that we will not come back.

Really great there, are here often. Always go there with my dog ​​to go swimming in the Stever. Well attended when the weather is good. Service very friendly and courteous. Food is okay

Three out of five stars for the location. Food was unfortunately not satisfactory and the service and the whole concept somehow didn't fit. Nobody felt responsible for the table and the problem was also noticed by other guests. Sanitary facilities cleanliness below average for both women and men.

Despite reservation, no table reserved, there was still a table but unfortunately total ignorance of the staff. After a quarter of an hour we got ourselves the not disinfected menus. Personnel was still nil. Even if the restaurant was full, a short statement or a hint that it could take longer would have been appropriate, but nothing came! After half an hour of ignorance from the staff, we decided to leave again. Maybe it was better that way because with so much unprofessional staff we didn't want to know what the food would have been like. Conclusion: absolutely not to be recommended!

Absolutely not to be recommended. We had to wait for our food for over 2 hours. Waitress said on request I just have a look. You had to call out loud to get your drink. The advertised tarte flambée was a disaster. When paying the waitress kindly pointed out that the waiting time for the meal was definitely too long, it got cheeky and just left the table. Absolutely not to be recommended.

Unfortunately, the operator is not really friendly, he just puts on a mask. I experienced the following: I sat in the beach area for about 1 hour (in the morning), did not know that this area belonged to the restaurant (since only Cafe Zentral stood on the associated beach cart) When the operator came he was very uncomfortable, took the chair away from me and said to me angrily that I should order something and not just sit here. I tried to explain my situation to him, he insisted that I have to get up immediately or what to order. According to the way I didn't want to order anything anymore and of course I got up immediately when I didn't know that this area belonged to the restaurant. It is a pity that it happened to me because I am not used to something like that, because I myself am a trained hotel manager and am always friendly to my guests. 😊

Absolutely fantastic with courteous service, located directly on the reservoir. Occasionally live music. Beer gardens, eating like italians 😊 Special requests were fulfilled.

Beautiful surroundings, but the operator can't do anything about that. Service friendly but slow and not organized. It is not for me that the side dishes salad then the drinks come. If requested, ice cubes were brought in, why? The drink was not chilled well enough! Ordered a beer from the "second service staff". This has not yet been brought up. Perhaps it would be a good idea to hire someone with catering experience.
